West Genesee Athletic Booster Club, inc. was formed in 1971 as a sports booster club for West Genesee high school athletics. We are a nonprofit organization run by an all volunteer membership. Members participate in various fundraising activities throughout the year and use the proceeds to enhance the athletic program of the West Genesee school district.
Past enhancements include:
- Portable score boards for the middle school fields
- Chairs and score keepers tables for both high school gyms
- Sound system for high school stadium field
- Portable PA systems
- Sectional and state banners in both high school gyms
- Plaques for state and section team and individual champions
- Snow shoes and tent
- Desktop editing station, software, and projector for game film breakdown and recruiting hi-lite tapes
- WS mascot costume
- Wrestling spot light
- Additional sports team support (girls lacrosse and girls softball)
- Goal posts
- In addition, we also provide eight, $500.00 athletic scholarships.
